Why take free electrician training?
Commercial and residential electrical services are in high demand. Tens of thousands of new electrician jobs open up every year, with salaries ranging from $14.00 to $35.00 per hour. Even better, the demand for professional, qualified electricians is expected to grow 10% over the next decade. That means more stability. It also means better opportunities to grow your career and income.
CrossPurpose can help you gain skills without spending tens of thousands of dollars. CrossPurpose will cover the cost of your training and even pay you a small stipend. If the high cost of education has prevented you from going to school to learn electrician skills, CrossPurpose is ready to help. Free electrician training in our pre-apprenticeship program will prepare you for a stable, long-term job in an in-demand industry.
About our free electrician training program
The CrossPurpose training program works similarly to an electrician internship. In addition to the program’s training for electricians, you’ll also receive three weeks of classroom time to learn professional development skills. These skills will help you transition smoothly into the workforce once you begin your electrician career.
Professional Development + Pre-Apprenticeship Training
Once you complete your professional development training, you’ll move directly into the electrician program. You’ll spend six weeks in on-the-job training. The Master Apprentice class’s electrician instructors will teach you the fundamentals of electrical work through hands-on experience, field trips, and visits to job sites. These experienced tradespeople were once newbies like you, and they want to help you succeed in a career you love.
What You Can Do After Certification
After completing the CrossPurpose electrician training program, you’ll have the skills you need to begin working as an electrician apprentice. After completing this training, your time in the industry will count toward a higher-level certification. You can move from an electrician apprentice to a journeyman electrician (after passing the journeyman electrician exam) and all the way to a master electrician. As a paid electrician, your options include:
Electrician Apprentice
Journeyman Electrician
Master Electrician
